#PennedPossibilities Check-In time! How are you enjoying working on your WIP? I... am actually working again? And I've been enjoying it a lot. My prob is that instead of like, telling a short spicy story, I've kind of like... found more to it so now its a for real story with spicy parts. And I was hoping to finish soon but... there's so much to talk about. "What is it?" I mean just really basic overview? It's kind of about the not quite relationship between alt Dio and a classmate; how it happened, how it develops, and maybe also how it ends. It's polyamorous in the way I experience it, and I'm trying to make it as true to ppl as I can. I'm not writing smut, I'm writing... life. But since its an alt version of my life, there's some sex and smut involved too, ha ha. I'm not giving a "will be done" day but I've written like, a lot for it lately. And maybe it'll suck but it'll suck in a way that feels right for me. #writing #writers

For any #writers with books out (old, new, trad, hybrid, indie, doesn’t matter!) I have 1 slot left in May for an Author Spotlight interview, and then lots free from June-Dec (some slots spoken for in advance around launch dates etc).

#PennedPossibilities 969 — Do your stories have happy endings? Hn. Not really, no. Thats prob because I write to my truth, to the truth of the people in my stories. And my truth is that endings aren't happy, they're sad. People die. People leave. And we can never go back, no matter how hard we try. In the end, we can only hold our ground, as long as we can hold it. So no, I dont write happy endings. But sometimes, I write happy stories. #writing #writers

#WritersCoffeeClub 2.22 — Are there types of settings you avoid writing? Why? Settings no. Situations or themes, yes. I don't like glorifying non-con spicy things by writing abt them and I don't like writing stuffs like torture or SA. I knos they happen. And tbh some of the ppl I write have experienced those things, and some of the ppl that read that stuff too. And... yesh. Maybe the writer as well. "But what if it isnt avoidable?" Hn. My microfiction, "Elaine," is featured in the February issue of Quotidian Bagatelle which is published on Feb. 1st. New to this adventure, I believe "Elaine" is highlighted online Feb. 25th, according to the publisher. I was paid $1.00, which I have framed. (Just kidding.)
