It comprises approximately 1,200 kilometers of transmission lines and substations with a total capacity of 1,300 megawatts. According to the reports, construction work on the project has already been finalized in Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Pakistan, while activities are currently ongoing in Afghanistan. The CASA-1000 initiative is being implemented with financial support from the World Bank.
