#MorningAll & #TZAG G’day Squirrel Fans, hope I find you bright eyed & bushy tailed! Monday, Monday … moon day … I wonder if it was originally called that after the astrological entity or after the somewhat inappropriate shenanigans of 14 yo boys on the back of the school bus down thru the ages? Well I was up at crack of sparrows fart & have done my gym stint! Just settling down for a quick ½ hour with my coffee & my Peeps! Got work starting on the house today, the brickwork on the extension is being repointed … lots of noise, lots of dust, lots of this skwerl hiding away in a virtual reality! Good morning! I'm having a hard time getting started today. Lots of back pain that the stretches just didn't help. I started to go out for my walk at my usual time and it began to rain, so I went back indoors to get my rain hat, only to discover that Theo had thrown up on it. I ended up staying in. Maybe I'll get some writing done #today. I can hope. Have a good one, my friends.

Good morning! Today we'll begin to cool down to more normal April temperatures (if there is such a thing as normal any longer): we'll have a high temp of 80F (27C) instead of 90 (32C), and back in the seventies for the weekend with some much-needed rain. Some of the perennials I planted last year that I thought had died are coming up again. Hurrah! And we have yet another type of flowering tree blooming now, this one more purple than pink. My walks are prettier and prettier each day. Have a good one, my friends, and keep on keeping on. May you find some beauty in your life #today.

Good morning! Our temperatures are a little more pleasant today, but we're in peak pollen season. Outside surfaces, including any car not kept in a garage, look like they've been dusted with yellow-green talcum powder. I'll do my daily walk but otherwise hide inside for the rest of the day. I've finished purging the closets, at least downstairs, so I can read to my heart's content while the washing machine + dryer do the laundry. Enjoy your Friday! #Today

Happy #TGIF Friday and all that.👋 But before I get into #myday's weather and all that plans for my day #today stuff, I wanta say "Gee, THANKS A LOT." to y'all out there complaining about the way too hot, heat your weather gods are beating ya up with lately.😏 Apparently, my weather gods here got word of it and are all. "Hey, WAIT, WHAT?" and have decided to up their game and the temperature up to 90deg for me too, today. 😱 Yup. I'm up to see a cool 55deg,open window, under the covers, morning heading higher today up near 90 deg to join y'all in my own chance to join in the too hot here hollering.🥵 But at least it will be sunny and much too hot to do much of anything else today, but sit a lot, sip a lot, and probably just bask in it a little bit, from beneath the shady tree, all day. ☀️😎👍 Welp. With that said, let me just wish y'all a great day of contemplating your plans for a terrific weekend, and happy TGIF Friday to ya, from a soon steamy hot n sunny Alabama today. 🤗🖖

#Today #peace #spring I need not so much to step away from doomscrolling as I need to find small joyful moments because those moments are fireflies in the dark. So I am embracing the garden coming back , the frost being gone , and the peeper frogs singing their hearts out. I can’t help anyone from a place of despair.

I always wanted to try this best # #3goodthings thing, and for #today, I may have found em 1) lunchin munchin' outside in the summer like day in the shade of my Pin-oak tree. 2) A nice nap in my hammock after stiffing myself with so much lunch. 3) a glass of wine later to unwind from my busy day of sitting n bssking in this lovely sunny day.

Morning. The storms are gone, the power is on, and the sun is shining. Those are the good things. I tried to walk this morning, but was driven back home by the very cold wind. I dressed for the 32F (0C) temperature, not realizing the wind chill was only 23F (-5C). So I had half a walk, then came home and was violently ill. I think I caught some sort of stomach virus, probably at the hospital yesterday. So I feel a bit better now, the bathroom is clean again, and I am cautiously sipping some coffee. May you have a better start to your day. #Today

Good morning! Well, today is the day the big storm is supposed to start. Now they're saying we'll get 16-22 inches (40-55cm) of snow by tomorrow morning. I have food, meds, cat food. I have nowhere to go until Friday morning. I'm good to hunker down for a while. Just pray the power stays on. Theo is full of nervous energy this morning, zooming around, swiping at me when I try to use the computer mouse, trying to wreck the furniture. I think it's the storm coming. I'm kind of jumpy myself. Have a good one, my friends. And if you're in the path of this storm, stay safe. #Today

Good morning! I woke up early with every joint in my body aching horribly. Even the stretches I do barely helped. Then when I got online to see what the temperature was and therefore what I should wear to go on my walk, I discovered the humidity was 94%. The aches and pains will go away when the humidity does, but unfortunately not until then. On the good side of things, my favorite flowering tree -- cherry blossoms! -- is in full bloom. It's my favorite because my walking path takes me directly under it: a canopy of pink above me, a beautiful scent all around me. Have a good one, my friends, and keep on keeping on. #Today

Yesterday I did get to the Petanque club and had a couple of good games. There were three new players there - not new to the game, but new to our club. New blood is definitely needed. It was cool but not unpleasant. I spent the rest of the afternoon and evening in a bit of a downward spiral for no good reason, and struggled to pull myself out of it. But, at bedtime I fell asleep almost immediately, so perhaps it was tiredness. We're hoping to get to our #allotment today, and I'll finally remember to take the early potatoes to put in. The forecast is for a day of sunshine & showers so we might be dodging raindrops in a stiff breeze! Make the most of your Sunday whatever you're doing or dodging! #Today
