I'm raising money for healthcare and food - the single disability check pays for our family's utilities and nothing more. I am intersex, queer, visibly disabled, biracial, schizophrenic, and probably at least a few other things that society frowns upon. Our house is falling apart, we have no hot water heater, and I'm very immunocompromised. I am very dependent on my pension and my aunt on my budget, however most of it went for food. @kshernandez@me.dm @Toadlyturtle@mastodon.social There are some active #MutualAid bots in here that do help spread the word, such as @mutualaid@fedigroups.social and @mutualaid@ovo.st. Mostly, though, it's crowdfunders sharing their links and boosting each other, while fighting against haters and blockers.

Its exhausting spending hours a day trying to accomplish mutual aid for yourself so you can eat, but having it amount to nothing day after day

I'm just worried bc I need my phone or I could get kicked out of my Mat clinic. you need an active phone so they can call for random bottle counts at any point. If ur phones not connected its considered a fail.
