Met a man today who tried to convince me there was no distinction betweens Russians and Ukrainians because he lived in Russia and "couldn't tell the difference". Buddy, your dearth of observational skills and unwillingness to learn Ukrainian and listen to Ukrainians is the problem, not the absence of a distinction between the two.
