The new #bees package seem to be doing good. They are busy drawing out new frames of comb, cleaning up other frames, and storing nectar and pollen. They did get their queen out of her little cage. We did not see her royal highness. We thought we did at one point, but then wasn't sure it was Herself. 🧐 They ate the whole entire frame of 🍯 we gave them, both sides, and drank 6 cups of 1:1 syrup out of their feeder.
We put another 6 cups 1:1 in their feeder. Will check again next weekend.

The new 3-lb. Carniolan #bees package has been installed and fed. Now we give them a week to free their new queen from her tiny cage and I will check on them next weekend.

Yesterday was a LONG day! It was a 3.5 hour drive one-way to pick them up! This is my last try with bees; if they don't make it thru the winter, I'm going to sell my gear. 😤
