Hoy fuimos al liceo a dejar a mi hija y resulta que otro boludito escribio en el baño que hoy hay tiroteo y eso... entonces llamaron a la policia, empezaron con el protocolo... nunca avisaron que se suspendian las clases... nos enteramos cuando llegamos que estaban suspendidas las clases. Cuando pregunte porque no habian mandado aviso, dijeron que los adscriptos empezaron a avisar a los alumnos y mapadres y que el whatsapp que usan, llego al limite de envios y a la mitad no le pudieron avisar... El efecto de red es tan pero tan grande, que inclusive con estas limitaciones que le complican la vida a todo el mundo... lo aceptan asi como es y nadie se queja #whatsapp #xmpp #efectodered #networkeffect #uruguay

Heute gebe ich etwas zu: Ich hatte in den vergangenen Jahren nie #WhatsApp!

Privat habe ich oft #Telegram benutzt, weil die ein unschlagbares Feature hatten: ich konnte es auf mehreren Geräten gleichzeitig / parallel nutzen.

Ja, ich weiß, deren interne Strukturen sind “shady” (zu deutsch: halbseiden); der Gründer des Dienstes ist Pawel Walerjewitsch Durow, der sein Geld in Russland verdient hat mit einem russischen Pendant zu Facebook.

Ich weiß auch, dass Telegram-Nachrichten standardmäßig nur transportverschlüsselt sind und nicht Ende-zu-Ende (E2E). Aber für die private Kommunikation mit Familie und Freunden ist das hinnehmbar.

Ich möchte dennoch allen dringend empfehlen weder WhatsApp noch Telegram zu nutzen sondern statt dessen #Signal und/oder #Threema.

Das war mein Beitrag zum 2. Samstag in diesem Jahr … jetzt könnt ihr wieder weitermachen! 😃

Ich nutze aktuell 2 #Messenger. #WhatsApp und #Threema. WhatsApp, weil ich es einfach nicht schaffe die Familie davon weg zu bekommen. Zwei haben mal Threema getestet und hatten jeweils 2 Kontakte. Einer davon war ich. Ich selber habe viele Kontakte auf Threema. Mit denen, die beide Messenger haben, kommuniziere ich nur auf Threema.

Jetzt bekam ich wieder zwei Einladungen von Freunden geschickt #Signal zu nutzen. Denn dagegen wehre ich mich immernoch. Warum?

  1. Wieviele Messenger denn noch.
  2. Ein weiteres US Produkt, welches dann auch Daten an die US Regierung übermitteln wird.
  3. Signal setzt #AWS von #Amazon ein, spült also direkt Geld in die Kassen der Oligarchen

Für Datenschutz ist Signal fast gut. Für Unabhängigkeit meiner Meinung nach eine ähnliche Katastrophe wie WhatsApp.
