Okay.

I do not recommend Motorola Moto devices.

  1. They install tons of shitware on first setup - make sure to not connect to WiFi, skip phone setup, and disable the MotoApps app first
  2. Apparently, their updater might repeatedly shit its pants on trying to install an update, for no apparent reason, and adb logcat only says “I/O” error. And extended recovery is needed, using dubious tools and dubious firmware download sources.
