BETWEEN TWO WORLDS (2021) Acrylic on Illustration Board - 10” x 7 ½” This started with a piece of the illustration board that I was using as a backsplash for a series of small monochrome works. In my novel, “Our Better Nature”, Mary and her compatriots use their weather-wrangling powers to take on the global industrial complex, to cure climate change. No one can stop them. Almost. Several have read the book and commented on it. According to them, it’s worth reading. (Links to full reviews below). Another book completed on my #XTEINKX4! This was "To Be Taught, If Fortunate" by Becky Chambers, a fantastic #ScienceFiction novella about a group of astronauts and their journey exploring alien life on far away planets! Vaikka kuinka selailisi suomeksi julkaistujen spefikirjojen tietokantaa, aina löytyy jotain yllättävää. Olen monesti saanut suosituksia tutustua Kim Stanley Robinsonin kirjoihin ja moni niistä on kiinnostanut. Lukulistalla on järkäleitä. Nyt huomasin, että Antarktika on suomennettu v. 2000. Mitä???
