I updated to CrossPoint 1.2 on my #XTEINK reader and my favorite feature is to turn a page into a QR code

I also figured out how to use the web updater on #Linux without relying on my dad's Windows laptop. I simply had to add my user to the uucp group! Evil Linux permissions!!! #xteink #xteinkx4

Another book completed on my #XTEINKX4! This was "To Be Taught, If Fortunate" by Becky Chambers, a fantastic #ScienceFiction novella about a group of astronauts and their journey exploring alien life on far away planets! I was pleasantly surprised by it, I want to read more works by this author in the future. #Books2026 #Reading #XTEINK #Books #Bookstodon

Did I mention the X4 lately? ^^ I recently concluded that Crosspoint could benefit from a few more customizations and more font size options offered in Papyrix. It turns out that Inx might be the firmware to fill the gap. It also displays your current reading time, along with the number of pages and chapters—quite a nice feature! https://github.com/obijuankenobiii/inx Still in pre-release, so very promising. I just didn't see an option to prevent the display fading effect when the X4 is exposed to U.V. It could be activated by default or not implemented. #x4 #xteink
