Mowa oczywiście tylko o polowaniach. Myśliwi i myśliwe (tzw. diany) są w niemal każdej partii politycznej, od prawicy do lewicy. Są ponadpartyjnym tworem, który swego czasu bardzo trafnie nazwano Polską Partią Myśliwych, a także Rzeczpospolitą Myśliwych. Pod koniec 2025 r. Ośrodek Działań Ekologicznych "Źródła" wysłał do wszystkich posłów i posłanek na Sejm RP pytanie dotyczące ich członkostwa w Polskim Związku Łowieckim. Ponad połowa z nich nie udzieliła żadnej odpowiedzi (sprawdźcie na stronie czypolujesz.pl). Czyżby wstydzili się swojej pasji? Czyżby wstydzili się członkostwa w organizacji zabijającej każdego roku setki tysięcy zwierząt? Wydarzenia takie jak Hunt Expo to "tylko" jakieś tam targi myśliwskie, mógłby ktoś powiedzieć. Jednak ta pozornie neutralna "impreza" legitymizuje działania oparte na przemocy, bo tym wszakże są polowania - przemocą, w wyniku której zwierzę doznaje zranienia lub śmierci. The motivating the population around yiu can take a million different forms, but they are primarily intended to bust through algorithmic bubble and bring a shot of reality into their IRL environment. My thoughts on today’s protest.

  • I wish people were less aggressively weird at protests. A lot of people I see out at protests are almost a parody of themselves. I don’t think it helps the cause by dressing like it’s Halloween, we want to be taken seriously.
  • I wish more speakers were better at public speaking. It’s certainly not true of everyone speaking, and I think people still have important things to share. Those chosen to speak should have clear messaging to provide the greatest impact.
  • Likewise, organizers should bring energy and know how to work a crowd.
  • The turnout was not great, at least when I was there. We can do better!
  • I understand there are a million terrible things happening. However, the protests should remain focused on only a few primary issues. If we learned anything from Occupy Wall Street it’s that we cannot allow the message to become diluted or be co-opted by other interests.

I know I’m being cynical, but I was a little disheartened by what I saw today.
