@liskin@genserver.social By now, docker has left my system and will never make a comeback. But why did nobody warn me before I broke my system? Besides, why didn't the #opensuse docker package revert those changes to iptables at unistall time?

Bueno, he decidido volver a tratear con #cwtch, esta vez en #openSUSE, y he visto que es necesario instalar Tor desde los repositorios oficiales antes de iniciar el programa. El que viene con el instalable de cwtch no funciona. El resto parece que va ok

I can't see my problem trying to connect from my #9front laptop to an #openSUSE sPC via ssh. The ssh command returns a "read1: eof" error. I regenerate the RSA key with a 4096 bytes size and that isn't the problem. 😞 I can connect from other OS to that computer. It seems the problem is in the ssh client because it can't connect to other openSSH servers.

#Tumbleweed boots on #RaspberryPi 5! Thanks to U-Boot, kernel updates, and the RP1 driver, core features like Ethernet, #WiFi, USB, and #HDMI are working. A major step forward for #openSUSE on #ARM. https://news.opensuse.org/2025/11/04/raspberrypi5-opensuse/

@serigala_tropis@lgbtqia.space that's the point. Just like what @torvalds@social.kernel.org said about why he choose fedora, he doesn't care about distros, just need a distro that works. I can not accept my workstation broken after an update and I'm in hurry situation to do some works. That's why I don't choose #archlinux. For rolling release, I think #tumbleweed from #opensuse is much more stable than arch. I've used it to run some stuffs.

With some hesitation, but in order to help make sure that there's no accusations of "Nobody told Me" if/when things get decided on, I present for consideration a new RFC for #openSUSE We've had a fair bit of struggle internally in the project over the years, given the way things were setup after openSUSE became the community adjunct to SUSE Linux Enterprise So we're talking about governance. Please weigh in, if you have ideas or comments. https://lists.opensuse.org/archives/list/project@lists.opensuse.org/thread/YKI5QVMT66WMZLOPTCQOEQZPTEWPDIBV/
