I was way, way offtrail and saw a large green object in the woods. At a distance I could only guess it was a car, abandoned in the middle of nowhere like you sometimes find in the New England woods.
As I got close I could tell it wasn’t a vehicle, but had no idea what possibly could be this shade of green.
Moss! Like a kid’s magic marker. I mean, just soak it in.

I still occasionally like to take the odd zoomed in #photo.
I an chuckling, because I've just realised this is a photo of #moss and I just saw someone post about the virtues of sharing pictures of moss.
But #nature is so intricate and varied. This is the world we should be living with, not destroying for technological gain.
