Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi emphasized Afghanistan’s commitment to resolving its issues with Pakistan through dialogue and mutual understanding, reaffirming that Afghanistan's territory will not be used against Pakistan. He stressed that Afghanistan has taken serious measures to this effect.
He also noted that any Afghanistan's military actions against Pakistan are defensive and that Afghanistan reserves the right to legitimate self-defense in the event of aggression.
