Both sides in the same city. No formal talks. The Strait of Hormuz remains blockaded — a 'dangerous standoff' as BBC put it. Khatam Al Anbiya headquarters in Iran announced the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, citing the continued US “maritime piracy and theft” under the pretext of sanctions, and said this reflects repeated American policies that violate international law. The statement added that control over the Strait of Hormuz has returned to its previous state, noting that this strategic maritime passage is under strict supervision and management by the Iranian armed forces. Breaking | According to WSJ, Iran has informed mediators it will continue restricting ship crossings through the Strait of Hormuz and impose tolls during the ceasefire period, maintaining tight control over maritime traffic.
