I've long been fascinated by the #mesh network #reticulum & the #LXMF messaging protocol built atop it—especially for areas w/o reliable Internet, or where govt. blackouts occur. I strongly believe bridges from LXMF to the open social web & open messaging protocols like #DeltaChat are strategic. I'd love to connect with others sharing similar thoughts. #3GoodThings from yesterday 📡 I successfully carried out my first #mesh experiment - communicating with my friend @stereo@freiburg.social in Germany... some 400km away!!! It only took 6 hops - including the iconic Jungfraujoch radio relay station 🍀 I found my second 4-leaf clover in a field near a bike track - when I took my little one biking 🐑 on our way home we stumbled upon a flock of sheep - it was fascinating to see a couple of adorable Border Collies in action herding them

Oh what a day! Earlier today I managed to communicate via mesh networks with my friend @stereo@freiburg.social in Germany... some 400+ km away. It only took 6 hops... the third one in the chain was the iconic Jungfraujoch radio relay station (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jungfraujoch_radio_relay_station) So exciting! I can't thank Ralf enough for his help with this... I would have been completely lost without his guidance. Let the fun mesh adventures begin! #mesh #MeshCommunication #MeshCore #MySoCalledSudoLife

≪ ESP32-S3 ePaper 1.54" (Waveshare) ≫ Schön anzusehen ist wohl alles, was mit ihm zurzeit möglich ist. Aber der Geogram-Entwickler arbeitet bereits an der Firmware. Dass es irgendwann eine neue Mesh-Software geben würde, hatte ich ja schon länger erwartet, aber dass diese sich nach dem Start dann so schnell weiterentwickelt – ist schon großartig.  👍 #Geogram #Messenger #Kommunikation #Notfallkommunikation #Mesh #LoRa #WiFi #ESPNOW
