It sounded like a good idea to use native HTML modal ``s for some new features, in the end even Safari has been supporting it for 4 years (and Chrome for 12 years). Well, turns out third party components can break in various wild ways when placed in dialogs. We spent several hours head-scratching over a broken autocomplete dropdown and a rich text editor. Maybe it was not that a good idea in the end... #HTML #CanIUse #WebDevelopment

Cuando no estaba la función de agregar Mark down o html me parecía que faltaba algo. Ahora está la función o será que ahora utilizo moshidón y está la función no estoy seguro. Pero cuando hago clic en el iconito ese del lapicito y la letra a... ¿Para qué usar esto? Eso es lo que me pregunto. #markdown #html

The early Web had a quality that has been lost ever since: it was *simple* Download #httpd , #netscape write some #html by hand and boom, the concept of a networked digital society is born. It first started going pear shaped with #LAMP . The complexity of a full blown database was not justified for most use cases. As proven decades later by the popularity of #sqlite and #ssg approaches. The final blow was when #bigtech got into the act. Immense complexity for the simplest things became a moat

Möchte meine veraltete Webseite endlich smartphonefähig haben. Und ich will es selbst machen. Aber nicht im Onlinebaukasten... Ich kann kein HTML, bzw nur wahnsinnig rudimentär. Gibt es irgendwo freie Basisvorlagen, die man aber verändern kann. Möchte NICHT online erstellen! Sondern offline und dann selbst per FTP hochladen . Nutze seit kurzem Ubuntu. Wenn's mal steht, kann ich natürlich im html-editor selbst aktualisieren ;) Ich präferiere einen Aufbau ohne Datenmüll. Oder kann man sich trauen KI zu bemühen (aber die klaut dann fremdes Eigentum?...), wie? Sorry die etwas doofen Fragen. Jüngere schütteln das vermutlich aus dem Ärmel.
