#GrapheneOS phone, my own #SearXNG search engine, my own #sharkey social media site, a number of other services thanks to #YunoHost I can feel comfortable using my own stuff at least. The amount of visibility I could have into the work stuff now is uncomfortable :neocat_think_woozy:

Techy people: do you have recs for a good airtag alternative? I'm looking for something to play nicely with GrapheneOS. #GrapheneOS

#GrapheneOS #Android #Privacy /kuk

I do not have endless free time, but I'll do a bit to promote good alternatives when I can. I recently installed GrapheneOS on a Pixel 6. Their website and resources were great. I highly recommend. #Android #GrapheneOS #privacy RT: https://grapheneos.social/users/GrapheneOS/statuses/116296896211404265

Are you considering OS's for your Android phone like #GrapheneOS or #lineageos to escape the #Android lock and #Google spying? The only tricky part is that GrapheneOS only supports Pixel phones while LineageOS supports a wider variety of vendors and phones but you may still need a generation or two down. https://lineageos.org/

I’m hearing that Motorola is joining forces with GrapheneOS. I think that is a bad call. Look how they tried to screw over the UK government with the Airwave service. I feel GrapheneOS may open themselves up to liability. I hope I’m wrong. #GrapheneOS #tech https://www.gov.uk/government/news/cma-wins-appeal-in-emergency-services-case

Motorola announces a partnership with GrapheneOS Foundation https://motorolanews.com/motorola-three-new-b2b-solutions-at-mwc-2026/

Motorola and the GrapheneOS Foundation will work to strengthen smartphone security and collaborate on future devices engineered with GrapheneOS compatibility.

This could be a gamechanger. Congratulations to @GrapheneOS@grapheneos.social, fingers crossed this works out well!

Zdaniem twórców GrapheneOS telefony z tej serii były „jedynymi” modelami spełniającymi „wymagania bezpieczeństwa”, niemniej zniechęcało to niektóre osoby do skorzystania z systemu.

I'm back on GrapheneOS ☺️ I settled for an Google Pixel 10 Pro XL. Will try to keep that for two years but we'll see. I have a tendency to buy new hardware quite often. (way too often). And of course I started donating to GrapheneOS again. Today I found a great keyboard that has support for auto correct in many languages, my included (Swedish). The keyboard app is HeliBoard, an actively developed fork of OpenBoard. So far I've found one app that does not really work with GrapheneOS and that is a car parking app (Parkering Göteborg), but I haven't used that in ages and I've read that there should be other ways to pay for parking in Göteborg when / if I go there again. #GrapheneOS #Pixel #GooglePixel #GooglePixelProXL #Android #HeliBoard #Keyboard #AndroidKeyboard #FreeSoftware #OpenSource #Swedish #Language #AutoCorrect
