Ja pierdolę co tu się odbyło... Jedziemy z lubą samochodem, jest odpalona nawigacja w GóglMapach. Gadamy o pierdołach, marzeniach o kupowaniu domu i dziewczyna rzuca, że chciałaby większy ogród. Nagle, out of the blue, aktywuje się głosowy asystent AI i coś tam prosi o sprecyzowanie. My WTF, rzucamy sobie zaskoczone spojrzenia i komentujemy głośno skąd to się wzięło. Niefajnie. Ku przestrodze. Also, polećcie pliiis jakąś alternatywną nawigację, bo mamy traumę i teraz zdecydowanie chcemy uciec od googlowej. #google #alphabet #inwigilacja #AI

US Top News and Analysis | Nvidia stock closes at record, pushing market cap past $5 trillion AI generated summary, Read the full article for complete information. Nvidia’s shares closed at a record high of $208.27 on Friday, pushing the company’s market cap above $5 trillion as investors surged into the AI‑chip trade ahead of upcoming earnings from major hyperscalers. The stock rose 4.3 % after a rally sparked by better‑than‑expected earnings from Intel, whose shares jumped 24 %—their strongest day since 1987—while AMD and Qualcomm also posted double‑digit gains. Nvidia, up more than 14‑fold since the end of 2022, has benefited from soaring demand for its graphics processing units used by Google, Microsoft, Meta, Amazon, OpenAI and Anthropic. Although the broader tech sector had been pressured by rising oil prices and supply‑chain disruptions, AI infrastructure demand remains strong, sending the Nasdaq up 15 % in April and setting the stage for Nvidia’s continued growth despite emerging competition from new chips announced by Alphabet. @kagihq@mastodon.social I haven't cancelled, but I've got to admit that I came close when I realized that you were sending every search ending in a question mark straight to Google. Now I just avoid using your AI features as the main reason I started subscribing was to get decent search without being surveilled by the likes of Google. I'll admit though, that the first competitor to come along providing even a vaguely similar service without Google / Yandex involved will immediately take my current Kagi subscription. So much of what you do is so promising, and then you undermine it by sharing data with the exact companies we're trying to get away from. Yes it may be more anonymous, but I'm still training Google against my wishes. #Kagi #Google #Alphabet #AI #GenAI #Privacy #Surveillance

Apropos of which, if we consider the non-exclusive #IP rights we all have to the information we collectively have created globally, its abuse by the big #AI players using our data to train its AI models, for their exclusive profit, is reminiscent of that historical crime when powerful individuals enclosed large tracts of common land, converting common grazing rights into private property rights. #TragedyOfTheCommons #AI #Google #Alphabet #Musk #OpenAI #TechBros https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m002mgk1/the-interview-decisionmakers-sundar-pichai-running-the-google-empire
