Unfortunately we ARE going back to this, in Alberta. The whole point of book banning is to reduce exposure to diversity, especially to the most easily influenced. Who do you think benefits from that? He claimed it wasn’t a project, even though the province has a page for it on their website calling it a “major project.” He criticized the news release as premature, even though he posted proudly about it on his LinkedIn, calling it a “validation” of the government’s data centre strategy. And he said there were no financial incentives being offered, even though the government promised 0% data centre tax levied on projects that bring their own power (which is the majority) compared to the small number of data centres connecting to the grid who have to pay the government levy. The minister gave a performance like no other at a recent town hall in Olds. 'This week, Prime Minister Mark Carney was widely criticized for supporting Trump and Netanyahu's deadly attacks on Iran, which clearly violate the UN Charter's prohibition on the use of force. Since then, Carney and Foreign Minister Anand have struggled to explain their position and whether this contradicts international law. When Carney finally took questions at a press conference on Tuesday, he admitted that "it appears that these actions [the US-Israeli attacks] are inconsistent with international law," and called the war a "failure of the international order." He even said that Canada had supported it with "regret." However, he reaffirmed that it doesn't matter either way, because Canada continues to support the war regardless.'' This is an outrageous position for the Canadian government to take, and it is the furthest thing from a principled foreign policy. It is not acceptable for Canada to identify that a violation of international law is taking place and still choose to support it. Making things even worse, Carney has refused to "categorically rule out" the possibility of Canada's eventual military participation. Carney's incoherent position on Iran is clearly at odds with both international law and public opinion. There is no justification for defending this deadly war of aggression which has undermined peace and security throughout the entire region. Canadians do not want to join this illegal war of aggression, and we refuse to allow Carney to leave that door open. So the 197 immigrants who moved to Alberta last fall from outside the country are somehow too many and are taking jobs away from Albertans, yet Smith whined at Trudeau in 2024 that Alberta had not received the 14,000 immigrants and temporary workers that she had asked for. #abpoli #Alberta Danielle Smith's Referendum Question: Do you support the Government of Alberta taking increased control over immigration for the purposes of decreasing immigration to more sustainable levels, prioritizing economic migration and giving Albertans first priority on new employment opportunities?

The Lukiszik question will be on it; the separatist question will probably be on it; and now this, which will be a least one question. Perhaps Albertans will get sick of California-style democracy and realise that parliamentary democracy is as good as system of government as one can have. #abpoli

Alberta has a corrupt outfitter as environment minister, who has ordered all of the best wildlife mounts, that the public could formerly view at the environment department branches across the province, to be now displayed in the office of UCP ministers. One branch office in Edm that had beautiful mounts of endangered species quickly transferred the mounts to the Royal Alberta Museum so the corrupt outfitter minister couldn't get his prizes!
