I've been deep diving into this YouTube channel. It has great non-binary and neurodivergent (especially autistic) content. The one thing that keeps catching me off guard is that they are framing neurodivergence as a disability. Is that a cultural thing that I missed (they are in the UK)? Or is it the perception of this YouTuber? I've always framed it as a different type of brain and way of looking at the world. I enjoy #physics and i enjoy #teaching so... when the adversarial school system got too much for me, the 'cruel mistress' known as #Youtube seemed like a potential outlet. Interesting, #YouTube seems to block IPs instantly when watching spicy videos with thrid party clients or using yt-dlp without a vpn observed this behaviour now multiple times. By blocking i mean asking for verification or demanding a captcha and it does seem to be Independent from the age or violence verification system because the videos i run into this did not actually demand a verified account to be watched.
