Il Tempo: "In Iran gli Usa abbandonino gli ultimatum". Lavrov avverte Trump Il ministro degli Esteri russo, Sergej Lavrov, ha avuto una conversazione telefonica con l'omologo iraniano, Abbas Araghchi, nella quale ha auspicato che gli Stati Uniti abbandonino il "linguaggio degli ultimatum" per contribuire a una soluzione pacifica del conflitto. Lo riporta una nota della diplomazia di Mosca. Durante la conversazione, avvenuta "su iniziativa iraniana", Lavrov "ha espresso la speranza che gli sforzi intrapresi da diversi Paesi per allentare le tensioni intorno all'Iran abbiano successo, nell'interesse di una normalizzazione a lungo termine e sostenibile della situazione in Medio Oriente che sarebbe facilitata dall'abbandono da parte degli Stati Uniti del linguaggio degli ultimatum e dal ritorno della situazione sul binario negoziale". I ministri, prosegue la nota del ministero degli Esteri russo, "hanno chiesto di evitare azioni, anche in seno al Consiglio di Sicurezza delle Nazioni Unite che possano compromettere le residue possibilità di progresso degli sforzi politici e diplomatici per risolvere la crisi" e "hanno sottolineato la necessita' di fermare immediatamente gli attacchi sconsiderati e illegali contro infrastrutture civili, industriali ed energetiche, tra cui la centrale nucleare di Bushehr, soggetta alle salvaguardie dell'Aiea". Lavrov e Araghchi hanno infine "ribadito l'inaccettabilità di creare minacce alla vita e alla salute del personale [della centrale] e il rischio di un disastro radioattivo per l'intera regione". Agi: Gli Usa mandano in Europa due aerei spia L3Harris EA-37B AGI - Gli Stati Uniti hanno inviato in Europa due aerei per la guerra elettronica L3Harris EA-37B Compass Call II (EA-37B) di ultima generazione, secondo gli analisti primo passo per un dispiegamento nel Golfo. Secondo l'emittente israeliana Channel 12, si tratta di velivoli entrati in servizio nel 2024, progettati per interferire e disturbare i sistemi di comunicazione, i radar, altri sistemi di navigazione, le reti di informazione nemiche e qualsiasi cosa controllata dalle onde radio del nemico. Secondo alcune fonti il Pentagono potrebbe aver deciso di inviare i nuovissimi aerei in sostituzione di due EC-130H danneggiati nell'attacco alla base aerea Prince Sultan in cui è stato distrutto un E-3. Anche l'Italia ha acquistato dalla L3Harris Technologies con un contratto da 300 milioni di dollari due EA-37B, Gulfstream G550 equipaggiati per la guerra elettronica. È stata la prima volta che il governo statunitense ha approvato la vendita di EA-37B a un alleato internazionale. Secondo il quotidiano di via Solferino, alcuni giorni fa il Capo di stato maggiore della difesa Luciano Portolano è stato informato dallo Stato maggiore dell’Aeronautica che il piano di volo di alcuni velivoli Usa prevede di atterrare nella struttura situata tra le province di Catania e Siracusa per poi ripartire verso il Medio Oriente. Nessuno però avrebbe chiesto alcuna autorizzazione né ha consultato i vertici militari italiani: il piano sarebbe stato comunicato mentre gli aerei erano già in volo. A quel punto Portolano avrebbe informato il ministro della Difesa Guido Crosetto. Le prime verifiche, prosegue il Corriere, hanno accertato che non si tratta di voli normali o logistici e che quindi non sono compresi nei trattati stipulati tra Roma e Washington. A questo punto Portolano, su mandato di Crosetto, avrebbe informato il Comando Usa della decisione: gli aerei in questione non possono atterrare a Sigonella perché non sono stati autorizzati e perché non c’è stata alcuna consultazione preventiva.
