He called out the 'toxic' cartel of existing homeowners, property developers, and vote-chasing politicians who love skyrocketing house prices because it pads their pockets and wins elections. Meanwhile young Aussies are priced out forever.

Man hat ja häufig das Problem, dass man sich große Vermögen schlecht vorstellen kann. Hier ein Versuch, das zu umgehen.
Wenn eine Pflegekraft Vollzeit arbeiten würde, bräuchte sie 971.428 und ein halbes Jahr, um das Vermögen zu erwirtschaften, das die BMW-Erb*Innen Klatten und Quandt heute besitzen.
Das ist dreimal die Zeit, die der Homo sapiens existiert oder die Hälfte der Zeit seit der Erfindung des Faustkeils.
