If that is indeed the case then I can't fault people for making the best out of a bad situation. I still maintain however that it is best to air on the side of caution with such things. I get the importance of establishing a community for the sake of community safety and early warnings, but publishing a list of people that you have successfully confirmed to be from or otherwise have heritage in Gaza is an incredibly bad operation security practice. Please consider keeping sensitive information such as this behind a portal. Oauth can be used to allow verified users to authenticate through their fediverse account for access. New details about the FBI's raid on Washington Post reporter Hannah Natanson's home have come out in government court filings--including details about what devices agents seized. Incredibly--agents compelled Natanson to unlock one of her MacBook computers using her fingerprint. Anyone have any experience with @Tutanota@mastodon.social? I created an account while on VPN and was told they needed to manually approve my account because people try to abuse their system using VPN. Totally understand that. I was patient. Days later they denied me. Not with a notification, but by simply closing the account. Never even got to use it. #InfoSec #OpSec #Privacy #Tuta #Email
