@yura@udongein.xyz Any decent repair shop won't ask for a PIN and any who does should be seennas a red flag! Like NOONE does this unless they want to exfil your data.Also this is out-of-scope because one could remote-wipe any device (or should've backed-up & wiped it before repair!) as is any other scenario where a user provides access to others!Regardless if you use @delta@chaos.social / #deltaChat or @monocles@monocles.social / #monoclesChat or even #Signal!

@brian_greenberg@infosec.exchange and the only correct reaction is to take #consequences. Any proper #App like #monoclesChat & #DeltaChat can control if, when, where and what #Notifications it spits out…Personally I don't trust #Signal cuz they not only fall under #CloudAct but also locked-in on #aws…

@signalapp@mastodon.world THERE IS NO LEGITIMATE REASON FOR #Signal TO DEMAND A #PhoneNumber (= #PII by circumstances if not mandatory doxxing to the governments aka. "#KYC")… so yes I do blame Signal because this attack vector is unique to #Signal's shittyness and would not exist with @monocles@monocles.social / #monoclesChat or even cock.li of all places…
