Eleven people were killed or injured in two separate traffic accidents in Ghazni province. According to Ghazni Provincial Police, the first incident occurred on the Kabul-Kandahar highway in the Kot area of Qarabagh district, involving a collision between a truck and two passenger vehicles, resulting in seven injuries. Sources report that the second incident happened near a refugee settlement on a dirt road leading to the village of Waghez in Ghazni province, where a vehicle overturned, killing one person instantly and another later in the hospital due to severe injuries. The Prime Minister’s Economic Deputy has announced that plans for a commercial market and a modern factory for electricity generation from waste were discussed at a meeting of the inter-ministerial investment committee in Kabul’s first district. The Deputy stated that proposals for the assembly and gradual production of tractors and agricultural machinery in Kandahar, Herat, and Balkh provinces were also presented at the meeting.
