New Elgato capture card is installed so hopefully that fixes the audio issues I was having with last nights stream. I'm now capturing in 1440p so in the near future I will be streaming at 1440p as well. #Streaming #Gaming #GamingonLinux

No spoilers. I still have the last cutscene to do, but I finally finished the Arcadion story in #FFXIV.
The whole thing was /very/ well written and put together.
And I had kind group members to rez me, which is always handy.

#apresentação Oi! Sou #brasileiro do #Brasil e gosto de #tecnologia, #jogos e #RPG. Não tenho muita presença em redes sociais à muito tempo. Um tempo atrás eu conheci o servidor Secrets of Sosaria BR - que é excelente por sinal - e resolvi traduzir o jogo para português (aos poucos) para jogar no modo roleplay com uns amigos, dai surgiu o Ecos de Sosaria. Como a galera que jogava tinha muitas dúvidas, acabei criando um site e um wiki para facilitar no tempo extra. Hoje não jogamos muito mais, mas o server ta la pra quem quiser jogar (ou se preferir jogar com mais gente, tem o Secrets of Sosaria BR - só que ele não é roleplay) O Secrets of Sosaria foi criado com um mod para ser jogado single player, mas com possibilidade de se tornar online também. Para quem conhece o #UltimaOnline, ele é o mesmo jogo, porém com muitas customizações e com a adição de quests. A idéia do #EcosDeSosaria é que ele seja 100% #Roleplay, então seria legal você interpretar o seu personagem (se algum dia encontrar algum outro jogador). Se você não curte essa idéia, procure o Secrets of Sosaria BR que é beeeem legal. Tem um puxadinho no #Lemmy e no #XMPP também ;)

I got Mint reinstalled.
Installed Steam after I got Vivaldi browser up and running and synced.
And, kids....if you want to install Steam in Mint or Ubuntu, don't use the software manager. Open a command prompt and use the following:
sudo apt install steam-installer
From the Reddit comment I found on this:
"steam-installer is a meta package (collection of packages) that includes a handful of recommended dependencies in an Ubuntu/Mint environment.
It includes the steam-installer script that is responsible for downloading the latest steam client on first execution and setup up the environment, steam-libs, steam-libs-i386, debconf, lsof, and zenity (a tool for displaying graphical dialog boxes from shell scripts), and any dependencies required for those packages (like steam-devices for example). It basically does everything needed and recommended for Steam to work except add the i386 architecture, which Mint already has enabled."
My first test of Steam, post-install, was to install Skyrim. It ran BEAUTIFULLY in high graphics mode.
Next up, Elder Scrolls Online..which has been downloading FOREVER...
On another note, this has me wanting to do more stuff in command line. 😁 ⌨️
