Do you choose items for them as you do your shopping? 🍏An apple, a bottle of water, and a package of mixed nuts are rich in calories and nutrients, can travel, and will keep without refrigeration. 🥯 A fresh muffin might crumble, but a bagel wouldn't. If the flour is fortified, it'd be nutritious, though does lean toward empty calories. 🧀 A package of cured meat or hard cheese can travel, are high in nutrients and calories, and would last a half day without refrigeration if it's not too hot outside. 🪥A toothbrush and tube of toothpaste can travel. So can deodorant and a pack of wet wipes. For people who are struggling but don't want to accept charity (shame and pride 😢), when you let someone help you it's good for THEIR soul.
