Regarding Trump’s mobilization of components of the 82nd Airborne: recall that in 1983, President Reagan diverted Marines who were en route to Lebanon to instead participate in the invasion of Grenada. I want to make it clear: opposing #fascism is not political. It is not a #Conservative thing, it is not a #Liberal or #Progressive thing. It is a #democracy thing. It is a #citizen, a #community thing. Because a #fascist government is effectively indistinguishable from feudalism. There are a few nobles, and everyone else is a #slave. We have been here before. It is not good for anyone. There isn't a 1%. There are a couple dozen individuals, maybe. Being #antifascist is being #human.

So I’m thinking that when the midterms come around that for some reason my voter registration will come into question. I’m registered as an independent voter. Trump doesn’t like independence. About HALF of the deportation arrests ICE boasts about are literally just scooping up people who are already in local jails. The terrorizing sweeps of neighborhoods, schools and businesses actually yield only a tiny number of arrests of immigrants with criminal backgrounds or warrants. #NOICE Every time I find out a family member is posting #fascist rhetoric that cops shouldn't be allowed to be judge jury and executioner, I die a little inside, cause I know their are also the type that it's just common knowledge that we need another civil war, apparently never having studied the horrible death toll the civil war caused leaving vet crippled, when brother fought against brother and I am worth being shot because we will very much not be on the same side. Inside im taking the option of people like MLK of passive resistance with the least amount of death that the Nazi ICE fascists are emptying entire clips into their back or face for standing up for the constitution
