Hi fedi folk - It’s lovely to be here! I just moved from mastodon.social to sunny.garden and think it’s time for an #introduction. I’m Bearina, 30-something from Mannheim, Germany. I make #zines, #ArtistTradingCards and have become a #printmaker recently. I also got back into #photography a few days ago which was my first hobby. I got my first point and shoot camera when I was 12 and fell in love with it before that, using my parents camera and strolling through the neighborhood. I like seeing creativity around me and love to get inspired by other artists. #SciFi is my jam and I love movies in general. And bears! Lovely creatures. #DeGoogling right now! Also I’m working on relaunching my website and make it more #IndieWeb friendly and #accessible but also give it a bit more personality. I want to start a blog and share my thoughts. Which reminds me: Words are hard! I try my best but not always succeed. I’m so excited to meet new people! I toot in German and English. #neuhier

• Making some progress with #degoogling. Mainly thinning down photos and emails in preparation, and making a plan for transferring them.
• Feeling inspired to get involved with some local groups. Most of the existing ones take place during working hours, which is a challenge!
• Feeling better for a second day running, largely thanks to sitting on my arse and napping a lot.
