Was anyone else hoping for a new #appletv or #applehomepod to be announced today? I want to start using the new Matter/Thread devices from Ikea to replace my current Zigbee lights, but I don’t have a Thread Router. And I really don’t want to buy an Apple TV puck or smart speaker when it’s going to be replaced in weeks or months.

Much as I’d love to fully switch to #Jellyfin, the lack of properly working playlists in any #AppleTV client stops me every time. Am I really that unusual in my usage? I just want to be able to shuffle a large playlist, ideally on loop.

Watching the S3E2 of Loot (Maya Rudolph) on Apple TV and Maya's billionaire-philanthropist character Molly has bought a Superbowl commercial. She's promoting her charity, speaking to the audience with a Superbowl party going on in the background. On the TV is a football game and it is the Argonauts vs the Allouettes. It caught my eye because of the large A logo, which I gather they haven't used since 2020 or so.
