My next #SuperbOwlSunday photo is one of my favourite owl photos - two recently fledged young Barred Owls (Strix varia) on a branch. Cute, even if the sound they made wasn't! I have more photos of these two, and a video of them, in a blog post:

Great news, everyone! The owl who fell into a cement mixer is all cleaned up and ready to return to the wild and, perhaps most importantly, makes this facial expression when being fussed at by the humans!
