Dora Richter (the one on the left) was the first #transgender woman to undergo vaginoplasty back in 1931. Yes in 1931, after she started her transition in 1920s. She survived the murders of her friends, coworkers and book burnings, when nazis destroyed her place of work Institut für Sexualwissenschaft. Dresden: Wi(e)dersetzen gegen Neonazi-Trauermarsch Mehr als 4.000 Menschen protestierten am 14.2.26 in Dresden mit Blockadeversuchen gegen einen Neonazi-„Trauermarsch“ mit rund 1.400 Teilnehmenden. Zu den antifaschistischen Gegenprotesten hatten mehrere Initiativen und Bündnisse aufgerufen, darunter das Netzwerk „Dresden Wi(e)dersetzen“. Anlass war das Jubiläum der alliierten Luftangriffe 1945 auf die Stadt. Die Polizei fuhr ein Großaufgebot auf und ging teilweise mit Gewalt gegen den Gegenprotest vor. (...) I haven't watched that footage in a while, but iirc the judge was solicitous enough to the fascists' objections that most of the remaining video had to be played without audio, so no one could hear any threats Gibson & Schultz may have made. Watched #JudgementAtNuremberg on #TCM yesterday afternoon. Had never seen the whole film from start to end. Many of the lines describing #Hitler, the #Nazis, and life under #NationalSocialism sounded contemporary. Great movie, very sobering in these times.

@marcgeffen@newsie.social ICE cannot account for the whereabouts of thousands of people they have detained. Many individuals, pulled from their homes or cars, simply vanish into the system. Now, we're hearing reports of people being murdered by ICE as well. I would not be surprised if we later learn of mass graves. #ICE #Nazi #Nazis
