When a Writer Does More Than One Thing I used to balk at the thought of sharing my day job with readers at my author events. My inner monologue went like this: They’ll think it’s pedantic! They’ll think you’re an impostor! They’ll wonder why your books haven’t made you money! They’ll laugh at you because you’re not a full time author!
