Alltså, jag är närmare 50 än 40. Har aldrig sysslat med musik. (Förutom någon trubadurlåt och lite sång i duschen.)
Men jag vill så gärna lära mig att göra beats med samplingar. Har haft en po-33 ko i flera år. Lekt lite med den då och då. Nu har jag en ep-133 k.o ii men jag blev inte bättre för det!
Om ni bara visste vilka konstiga läten och grötiga ljud jag tvingar ur mina maskiner...

RIP Afrika Bambaataa
Afrika Bambaataa was one of the early leaders & innovators of hip hop and is perhaps best known for taking Kraftwerk's electronic pulse & reshaping it into the global (and early) hip hop hit Planet Rock (I still have my original Tommy Boy 12" bought on a trip to the States); just genius.
A classic case of the power of the DJ/producer to push innovation then & subsequently.
He'll be missed.

Hip-Hop-Pionier Afrika Bambaataa gestorben
Er galt als einer der Pioniere des Hip-Hop und wurde mit Songs wie "Planet Rock" berühmt: Nun ist der US-Musiker und Produzent Afrika Bambaataa im Alter von 68 Jahren gestorben. Zuletzt gab es Missbrauchsvorwürfe gegen ihn.
