I live in a house with a spouse and cairn terrier (Bennie) on Treaty 6 territory and homeland of the Metis 🇨🇦 
I retired in 2018 from a compliance position at a multinational. Now I twiddle around the house between volunteering, hanging out with Bennie & reaping the rewards of having a spouse with a greenhouse & 3D printing interests. Interests include tech, occupational health & safety and science-based health & wellness. Volunteering is the antidote to social media. I am Canadian.

File under one weird thing…
I got an insurance payout after I was hit by a car; no tax due. When my dad died there was no tax on inheritance (his estate was taxed). Casino winning generally no taxes if you have a regular job. Canadians are soaked in USA media and often assume we are taxed on things USians are.

It's sad that people think an #LLM could ever be an accurate #TaxPreparation service.
But it's even sadder that people need to be told to not feed their private financial data to a #chatbot when doing their #taxes .
