Sang a solo in a new to me church yesterday morning. Still rather nervous about singing solo! It went pretty well, more or less what I'm capable of doing right now. To sing better I'll have to keep practising! Which means I'm quite happy about it. :) Church services nowadays are conveniently streamed so if anyone's curious, you can still hear it. #WordWeavers 18, Can your MCs carry a tune? Hn, where are they carrying it? Dystaria - I don't know, but I do know she would unapologetically sing silly pop songs at Karaoke if she knew what they were. And maybe some screamy metal. Which would prob be adorb and terrifying all at once. Filia - I don't know if she has ever tried. But knowing her she'd prob be a natural at it and just be annoyingly and disgustingly good. Alt Dio - Lol no. She is alt me so we have the curse of both having rly good ears for music and a rly not great ability to sing in a way that isn't cringe for us. #writing #singing

I never ( except just once) sing solo. Nerves make my voice go off key. But I'm happy to sing with others, so made an effort to drink enough coffee to stay up for the late evening circle on the last night For my turn I intended to read the new lyrics I wrote the previous night, until I opened the file and locked at the second verse. So I told a new story that began with the trip back to my room the previous evening. I wish I could remember the stories I make up on the spot I need a secretary to follow me around. Hint it included my old mobility scooter, Beaker. #Singing #OralStoryTelling

I did something in rehearsal last night I have never done before. I sang the F over middle C in my head voice. Mind. Blown. It's true what they say, your voice truly doesn't mature until you're into your 30's. #choir #choral #singing
