#WordWeavers 4/25 Is there any political or moral value that your MC and antagonist agree on? On the surface, probably lots. Matholwch would agree with Taliesin that kings and rulers are beholden to their people, that history and the arts are lifelines of a culture, that compassion for others is the hallmark of a worthy ruler. The problem is that Matholwch will forget his 'principles' the moment it's convenient for him. He seems to have no issue throwing his people into a catastrophic war for pride's sake, and evidently his 'compassion' for his wife only applies when she's not speaking up for herself and her native Wales. To be fair, Taliesin isn't a saint when it comes to his principles either and he's been known to use deceit and trickery when there's no other option.

#WordWeavers April 25. Is there any political or moral value that your MC and antagonist agree on? They'd probably agree on a few things even if they'd never admit it. Both want to help their people from those seeking their destruction. They just go about it in very different ways.

#WordWeavers 24. Do your characters have any “tells” when they are lying? My character's so seldom lie that I barely think about that. Oddly, I can't recall Lydia -ever- resorting to our right lying. She simply doesn't put out all the facts and generally lets people think whatever they want to without feeling the need to correct them.

#WordWeavers 16/4: If your MC lived in our world, would they have good financial credit? I'm writing abt my alt self rn, so that's not easy to answer. Alt me was born here, in "earth realm," but she's been long enough to be declared dead. So if she cane back, she'd have no credit, no identity, and no way to correct that easily. Ofc, she has access to gold coins and other things she could trade for money so in that way, she'd have good financial stability without credit.

#WordWeavers April 15. Is your antagonist more optimistic or pessimistic? Why? Pretty pessimistic. That's what being trapped in another world for a time will do to you though.

#WordWeavers Feb 21. What part of editing is the hardest for you? When I run up against a sentence or phrase that I struggled with when drafting and I STILL can't figure out how to make it better.

#WordWeavers April 13: Does your MC have a particular scent they love or hate due to their past? Alana keeps lilacs in their room and uses their scent distilled as a perfume. It reminds them of loss, of grief, of why they keep fighting. And, occasionally, it reminds them of love.

Your opinion on April Fools Day & do you incorporate the day into your work? April Fools Day should be celebrated as the International Day of Fact Checking. I don’t have the opportunity to incorporate it in Esther and Érié. [EDIT: it appears that 2 April is International Fact-Checking Day 🙌] #wordweavers 2026-04-01

Do you use any special means to get to know your characters? E.g. character sheets, prequels, interviews, etc. The Inktober’s stories I create are opportunities for me to explore my characters’ origins • Esther’s youth https://www.deviantart.com/nautilebleu/gallery/89221610/inktober-2023-the-youth-of-esther • The Human Chair https://www.deviantart.com/nautilebleu/gallery/94035535/inktober-2024-the-human-chair • The Journey back to Great Albion https://www.deviantart.com/nautilebleu/gallery/98442822/inktober-2025-the-journey-back-to-great-albion #wordweavers 2026-04-02

Choose a character to invite to a party. What kind of party is it? Does it have special rules (dress code, bring alcohol, etc.)? The Duke of Clarence, before he becomes the Human Chair, and it would be an orgy 😈 Rules ? The only rule is that there’s no rule! #wordweavers 2026-04-04 [Illustrations: Excerpt from Inktober 2024]

How would the character from question 4 react to being invited? Victor-Albert, Duke of Clarence: “I’m always up for another party. I just hope this mysterious lady I crossed the last time will attend too!” #wordweavers 2026-04-05

One of your characters is seeing something unbelievable. What is it & why are they seeing it? I can’t answer that question without spoiling #wordweavers 2026-04-09

Looking if this trip was possible in 1895, I found this website that allows to compute isochrones in Roman times, 1680, 1830, 1911 and nowadays https://www.travelintimes.org/journey/52.203001,0.123997/51.507195,-0.127590/#9.13/51.8565/0.0362/bartholomew #wordweavers 2026-04-12 2/2

#WordWeavers 11/4: What would be the most unappreciated social event a character of yours could be invited to? Probably a solely religious rite, not associated with any births or deaths or marriages, that didn't even have decent food after.

#WordWeavers 10Apr—Did your MC ever have a melody/tune stuck in their head? Given how often I've been earwormed this year, I find it strange that the answer is no. I should fix that.
