The upcoming release of #PureOS Crimson, the default #Linux operating system for @purism@social.librem.one devices like the #Librem5 Linux phone got many stability improvements.
Only a few blockers for final release remaining.

@Linux@linuxrocks.online @robianhood@mastodon.social I’d say the fully #FreeSoftware / #OpenSource #PureOS from @purism@social.librem.one is also (probably*) commercially viable. Any particular reason you excluded it?
There’s also #FuriOS from @furilabs@fosstodon.org While it’s probably a bit early to determine its success, at least they made enough money to continue development and release a new model without crowdfunding.
- Based on the fact that #Purism is still in business, fulfilling orders and making new OS releases and announcing new products…
