I am in awe of the exquisite veneer of fake politeness which the English ruling class uses when expressing utter contempt for someone who they are trying to skewer. 😈
Here, #EmilyThornberry MP wields her knife into #OllyRobbins with brutal gentility. She is only a small step short of the most vicious phrase in the English language: "with the greatest possible respect".
The curse of #Mandelson continues to both shock and entertain.
