There's this game 'Dungeon Encounters' which is mesmerisingly brilliant in how it distills the JRPG down to essentially elements. It's like a 2D grid and numbers. Only later you realise it's actually a 3D grid. A lot of JRPG franchises started as very numbers-cenric, but over time they have headed towards grandiose storytelling. And there's nothing wrong with that. Meanwhile Dungeon Encounters captures the early JRPG thrill of grinding, making numbers go up, and avoiding dying. #videogames #dungeonencounters #jrpg

If anyone is looking for a fun and stupidly silly JRPG, give Calamity Angels Special Delivery a try. There is a demo for it on Steam right now. #CalamityAngels #JRPG #VideoGames

I just defeated Okumura in Persona 5 Royal. This fight is a lot harder than in the original and so far the it has been the only change I didn't like. Hopefully it is an isolated case as I liked all the changes so far. #Persona5Royal #JRPG #VideoGames

The Overtime dungeons in Atelier Rorona are pretty brutal! I have been working on equipment and other items but 4 in-game months have already gone by... I think I will continue working on those for a little longer, see how I do in the dungeons, get whatever end I can get and use that save for a New Game+. #JRPG #AtelierRorona

I finished Atelier Rorona last night! Since it was essentially my first time through the game I only got the normal endings as I fumbled a lot through it. It was still very fun! Now to do the Overtime! #JRPG #AtelierRorona #ShareYourGames
