Good morning everyone 🌞 I'm up early with the parrots today and have just put Ziggy in after a brief cuddle, and some biting, since this morning she has decided that my right hand offends her and has been attacking it. No idea what the poor hand has done to deserve this, but she's rightly miffed by it that's for sure. I often think that they should send us parrot people to the first encounter with an alien race. We're definitely the most experienced in alien behaviour that's for sure 😂 I finally managed to track down the missing yarn delivery that Royal Mail say I had asked to be left in my safe place ( I hadn't since we were home all day) which turned out to be stuffed behind a neighbour's pot plant on their back step, so I'll be able to make a start on the competition toy tomorrow as well as working on the latest crochet order. Today is co-op BG3 day though. Last week we had an absolute blast in the Mausoleum, figuring out puzzles and taking on, and defeating the Orthon, which was really tough - both Gale and Shadowheart were dead by the end and Ethera perilously close to it. Even Grognak was on low health and not a healing spell or potion between us. But we managed it in the end; Ethera using her flying ability to stay out of reach of the merregons and recasting Call Lighting and Grognak just battering the heck out of everything 😊 Looking forward to more adventures today! Good morning everyone ☀️ I'm just up after a nice long lie, courtesy of Grant and the parrots. The wind and rain made for good snuggling up in bed 😊 I wouldn't say we had any storm as such though, more of just "weather" so I think we got off quite lightly. We didn't end up playing co-op BG3 yesterday as it was a lovely day and Grant wanted to make the most of it by going birding up the woods, so I ended up playing by myself. I realised that I had named by character in our co-op with my grandson the same name as my single campaign Bard, so I had two of the same name. This annoyed me and, being a serial restarter, I deleted my Bard campaign and started a new one instead ☺️ You can use the magic mirror to rename your Tav, but it doesn't rename the campaign itself and that would have niggled away at me. Good excuse for another restart anyway, and I finally managed to get the achievement for killing Commander Zhalk on the Nautiloid, and have already had a conversation with Astarion I've never experienced before - the game continues to amaze me with its depth! Plan is to play the co-op campaign with Ethera and Grognak today now as I don't think my grandson is available anyway. We have vegan chicken Kiev's and some potato things lined up for lunch. Good morning everyone 🌞 I'm up early with the parrots today and have just settled down for a wee Ziggy cuddle after cleaning and feeding them all, in a bit of a rush as I woke up half an hour later than I should have, my internal clock all messed up after the non long lie yesterday. Ziggy has started greeting me with kiss noises in the morning after I lift her cover, so I must be doing some right 😊 I always get a good night kiss every evening when I put the cover down too. I must find some black thread and fix her cover though. It has a couple of rips in it which means she peeks out when she's supposed to be sleeping, and being such a bossy boots she always has a comment or two when I'm trying to settle Jadie down, generally of the "C'mon!", hurry up variety 😂 It's co-op BG3 day , but we're starting a new campaign today because my eldest grandson is joining Grant and I. He's back from Uni after having a wee operation and is recovering at home, so I thought it would be a nice distraction for him. Good morning my Fine Fedi Friends 💕 I'm up late today after a nice long lie in which I had, as usual, bonkers dreams. This time for some reason the company HR department had decided to direct people to my bedroom as a new waiting room, while I was still in bed mind you! Two of my colleagues ran into the room to tell me they had found a dead bird, so I grabbed Ziggy, who also happened to be there and went to have a look. There were feathers scattered around like you see when a bird has been killed by a hawk or a cat, but also creepy serial killer notes all over the place 🤷🏻‍♀️ Detective Ziggy and I were on the case when I woke up 😂 At the moment she is chatting away to me, while chewing on what looks like a bit of apricot. I've never seen a parrot eat with so much relish as our Zigs 😊 I had a good time playing some single campaign BG3 yesterday again. Celeste and her crew took on the lava monster, the Guardian of the Forge and a bunch of Githyanki at the mountain pass. That last one was tough as it was a sorcerer, Gale, Astarion and Karlach up against a bunch of warriors, but we made it without anyone dying 😊 Plans for today are to do some more cupboard cleaning. I have a sideboard in the dining room which hasn't been tidied in about ten years and it's groaning with stuff we no longer use that could go to charity. Good morning you lovely lot 💕 I'm up early with the parrots again today and really feeling the lack of a long lie so far this week. I'm so sleepy that even Ziggy nipping the soft skin under my arm isn't doing much to wake me up. Yes, she's up my sleeve again, like any good trick 😊. So with Toby munching, Jadie grumbling at the back of her cage and the air filters creating white noise, I am really struggling to stay awake today. It's comforting, this drowsiness, a sleepy normality without any drama. I've learned to appreciate moments like these, little islands of calm that they are. Gaming was good yesterday and very much needed. I started a game of Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, played a little DAO and even found time for an hour of BG3. The day just flew by and I mentally felt all the better for it. Gaming therapy for sure 😊 And today is co-op BG3 day! Ethera and Grognak will be causing chaos in the Shadow Cursed Lands again, with veggie burgers for lunch break. Have a very lovely day, whatever you get up to 🤗 #GoodMorning #Parrots #Gaming #BG3
