Sul circuito di Austin, il pilota madrileno è riuscito a recuperare terreno su Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo), in fuga dal primo giro, finalizzando il sorpasso all'ultimo giro. Proprio Pecco chiude al secondo posto, davanti a Pedro Acosta (Ktm), terzo. E' stata una Sprint ricca di cadute illustri. Sono scivolati Marc Marquez (Ducati Lenovo) e Fabio Di Giannantonio nel corso del primo giro. Dopo aver forzato una staccata al limite, lo spagnolo ha perso l'avantreno della sua moto, coinvolgendo anche il rivale. A tre giri dal termine, invece, è caduto anche Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia), mentre si trovava al secondo posto. Il nuovo leader del campionato ora è Martin con un punto di vantaggio sul Bez. On the Austin circuit, the Madrid-born rider managed to close the gap on Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo), who had been in the lead since the first lap, finalizing the overtake on the last lap.
