@gedeonm@mastodon.social It was unfortunately what would be termed today as "AI slop". If I remember correctly, most of #Data's attempts at art turned out to be some form of regurgitation, sometimes exceedingly boring. He even noticed it in #Inheritance in his mom's playing of the violin, as evidence she was artificial. The most damning version is #InTheory when he basically turns into a LLM chatbot to try to have a girlfriend. #AllStarTrek #StarTrek

@MisophonicSpree@universeodon.com @lxskllr@mastodon.world @MirrorAyako@universeodon.com @startrek@fedigroups.social My only criticism with #Gravity is they don't actually show young #Tuvok changing his mind about emotions. He just sorta of leaves the monastery and thanks the master, now dedicated to logic. Admittedly it would have been tough to pull that off as the B plot, despite the skill of the actors. #AllStarTrek #StarTrek #StarTrekVoyager #Gravity

Why wait til the very end to relieve her suffering? (Answer: because otherwise there would have been no episode.) #AllStarTrek

@kcarr2015@mstdn.social Yeah but he didn't. They kind of didn't track all the ways that they said Curzon died. At one point we see Curzon and Jadzia on adjacent hospital beds... so that's how Curzon died, after transferring Dax to Jadzia. They must have resuscitated him on Risa. #AllStarTrek
