She also dismantled a supply chain botnet: decades before NPM and Wordpress made those mainstream. _ _ _ _ == Interests == - Making simple gameplay mods for ZDoom (weapons, player movement, jetpacks) - Hacker conferences, i.e CCC (never been to one, but the talks eviscerate 99% of tech Youtube) - Reading: tech blogs, manga, religious works (TechTipsy, @domi@donotsta.re 's blog, even Hackaday if I'm desperate) (Patlabor, Rayearth, anything by Shirow Masamune) (New Testament, The Religion of the Samurai) - Videogames (Jackal and Millipede are the best 2D shooters, because you don't need a speed powerup to have a fighting chance) (Quake has worse guns than doom, but the verticality makes up for it) (Doom is more interesting when you don't keep weapons between levels) (got highly addicted to F-Zero for a while) (Kung Fu for NES is the only beat-em up I really got into, it isn't a slugfest: also appreciate Mazinger Z for SNES because of the immense enemy variety) - Permacomputing (mainly interested in the "my laptop from 2003 works fine, now get off my lawn"-part of their philosophy) - Birds (kinda want to scratch a Golden Eagle under the chin, I find them oddly cute) (don't get why Netscape's grandson is called Seamonkey instead of Albatross or something)

I've heard of people putting Linux on their thermostats: but a Pentium 4 PC will always be a mighty spaceheater no matter what Operating System you're running.
