Today is known as Tibet Uprising Day. A revolt started in Lhasa, Tibet's capital, on 10th March 1959, which lasted two weeks. The Tibetan people were rioting against the Chinese government, which had annexed the country. Thousands of Tibetans were killed. #FactsMatter #Tibet
