Some may say something like: That's actually a good deal Espechally when one compares it to the already outrageous pricing they do regularly of close to €1 per nugget. But even that is an absurd profit margin…Like close to €40/kg kinda pricing! #Greedflation #Shrinkflation #Inflation #Greed #Enshittification

What do you mean you don't obsessively count the number of chocolates in a tub of Celebrations every year and put the results into an Excel spreadsheet!? Anyway, the 2025 results are in: Bounty x5 Galaxy x5 Galaxy Caramel x5 Maltesers x5 Mars x9 Milky Way x9 Snickers x9 Twix x7 The tub itself has gone down another 50g since 2024 (100g since 2023!) Hard to believe that I used to give this content to Zuckerberg for free, you're welcome Fediverse! #Christmas #Chocolate #Shrinkflation

Addendum: Yeah, I gotta change my shopping and cooking habits. Not only is the pre-packaged stuff kinda awful, but the deceptive shrinking of quantity and sometimes individual elements is depressing. #shrinkflation

I bought some plant-based sausages that I get occasionally. Only 4 in the packet. Front label says 4 sausages. My memory, and the grooves in the packaging, know there used to be 5. #shrinkflation
