Little Feat is the debut studio album by American rock band Little Feat, released in 1971 by Warner Bros. Records. Review by Stephen Thomas Erlewine ...Little Feat's eponymous debut isn't just one of their finest records, it's one of the great lost rock & roll albums. Even dedicated fans tend to overlook the album, largely because it's the polar opposite of the subtly intricate, funky rhythm & roll that made their reputation during the mid-'70s. Little Feat is a raw, hard-driving, funny and affectionate celebration of American weirdness, equal parts garage rock, roadhouse blues, post-Zappa bizarreness, post-Parsons country rock and slightly bent folk storytelling. .. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSnmUjJCsfY&list=PLPXKeh9rPfnRkuAuR0Cqd1u-mHOg7XZgC&index=1 #LittleFeat #LowellGeorge #Music #RootsRock #VeniceInTheSnow #LAFineArtsSquad #RyCooder

#morningCoffeeAlbum Crossroads - soundtrack album by Ry Cooder In addition to the many fine albums issued in his name (not to mention his extensive session work), Ry Cooder wrote the soundtracks to several movies which were released as albums. Crossroads is based on the legend surrounding blues musician, Robert Johnson. Johnson, whose recording career spanned less than a year, nevertheless had enormous influence on the development of the blues. According to the legend, Johnson, at the time a plantation worker, met the devil at a crossroads and entered into a Faustian plot to become a great blues player. The title/opening track is a Johnson composition. #nowPlaying #RyCooder #RobertJohnson #music #vinyl
