Uusi koti sattuu olemaan hyvän kokoisen nyppylän päällä, joten päätin koittaa, että soveltuuko paikka mäkitreeniin. Eihän tämä mikään vuori ole, mutta kyllä tuossa 43 minuutin aikana sai 216 nousumetriä aikaiseksi. Ihan jees! #juoksu #juokseminen #running #RunnersOfMastodon

Oliskohan se aika lopettaa laiskottelu kun ei tuo olkapää tunnu tuosta paremmaksi menevän, vaikka miten sitä kuntouttaisi. Touhu käyntiin 7 km juoksulla ☺️ Otin samalla kokeiluun intervals.icun kun @lehtimaeki@snapp.social sitä suositteli. Sain kyllä ladattua sinne tämän kuun aikaisemmat suoritukset ja terveystiedot, mutta tämä suoritus ei jostain syystä sinne mennyt. Durham Parkrun this morning as we are still a man down and it was a bit windy for singling. An additional 9km for both slices of my parkrun sandwich. Official time 22:13 which is still well behind my PB but given the wind and no focus on 5km I was happy with it. Sunshine by the time I made it home. If it stays dry I've an appointment with brambles at the bottom of the garden. #running #runnersofmastodon

Wednesday easy run with Coxhoe on the run, around the villages, up the hills with some pleasant chat along the way. This evening I've replaced Hen Ogledd with Meic Stevens who despite my love of Gorkys Zygotic Mynci I had managed to completely miss. The welsh Bob Dylan apparently, which I get but to be honest he seems to have been so much more. #running #runnersofmastodon #garmin #beatyesterday

It's easy for me to say, Not today. I have a deck of health crap that keeps getting worse. The world is in a fragile state. But today, I ran. Health stuff doesn't matter. Short run this morning as I was off to Scarborough to visit a machine tool supplier. Always a heartening experience seeing something useful being made. Designed, manufactured and supplied in the north of England. Back home to find Hen Ogledd's new CD, a totally magical album. I'm not sure which has helped with my recent low mood possibly both, the weather, bird song in the mornings or maybe just time. #running #runnersofmastodon #garmin #beatyesterday

So #runnersofmastodon what would you do when you pick your #Suunto #Wing from the charging cradle and see this? Seems there is something oozing out from the battery(?) 🔋 Wing pretends to be operating normally. I also wonder if the battery is on this side only and if i can fix that.

Sunday easy run with Coxhoe on the run. Bright sunny start to the day and warm enough. I ran to the village hall the back through Bowburn together to pick up Strawberry lane, through some muddy fields then back to Coxhoe and the lamplight for coffee. No scone this morning as I was running back giving a total distance of around 21km. #running #runnersofmastodon #garmin #beatyesterday

Back in 2021, I had eight 200+-mile running months before bilateral bunion surgery that November. Among surgery, a year of long covid and a car crash, I hadn’t hit that high of mileage in a month again until December. Back-to-back 200-mile months now means more with all the challenges to overcome. #running #runnersofmastodon #barcelona

Lääkärin määräämä parin päivän huili olkapäälle on hoidettu, joten yritin käydä purkamassa naapurista aiheutuvaa ahdistusta lyhyellä juoksulla. Aurinkoenergia teki hyvää, mutta ahdistus jäi. #juoksu #juokseminen #running #RunnersOfMastodon
