I wouldn't the NRL to take control of Rugby League in the UK, but the RFL don't do a great job. Rugby League needs promoting in the Northern hemisphere, including the UK. If the NRL want to help with this, then great. Watching that match last night got me wondering if Sky would use the original arrangement of music for the Paris match with it being 30 years. Then if News Corp had wanted and been allowed to buy PSG, could they have been another Melbourne Storm now? Watching this replay, I didn't know before that Stuart Cummings allowed the first half to go on for a good 25-30 seconds too long - including a kick-off and two tackles - until finally the touch judge got his attention the siren was going off. At least the timekeeper eventually realised what was going on and kept it depressed until finally it was noticed. #SuperLeague #RugbyLeague

If the #NRL don't want to keep dealing with a bye each week - or add a 20th team - once 'Perth' and PNG enter, they can just dump the Titans off. Didn't even take two minutes into it before the 2026 season can be written off. #RugbyLeague

Glad I went for the York Knights Vs Warrington Wolves game, very good game. Sort of sorry that York lost, but Warrington deserved the win. What has happened to Leigh Leopards? I thought they were going to be one of the top teams this season, and they've only won 1 game so far. #rugbyLeague #superleague

While there are so many false dawns in both rugby codes, a new club in Birmingham sounds exciting at least. I know I've said it before - and also I've supported an NRL-style league too - but the problem with anything like this happening is there are a large number of Super League club owners who are either happy with the status quo models no matter what, and/or have no imagination to want or believe in trying something fresh. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VL7W05JAswA #SuperLeague #NRL #RugbyLeague
